Together we achieve the extraordinary

At Royal Park we believe that every child can succeed. We will ensure that our children will develop high aspirations, self belief, respect, compassion, and an understanding of their world.

Swimming at Royal Park

Swimming lessons every year for every child

At Royal Park, we have our very own swimming pool. This means that every child has swimming lessons every year from Year 1 to Year 6, so children leave school having mastered this important life skill.

The Royal Park Curriculum

Our curriculum is designed to empower children to believe that their voice will be heard and their actions can make a difference.

We believe that the children have an entitlement to specialised knowledge that is not acquired through everyday experiences. We welcome you to find out more about our curriculum.

The Great Fire of Sidcup! Year 2 continued learning about the Great Fire of London in some style. The children built their own houses and lined them up on the field before they were set fire to. They were able to see just how quickly the fire would have spread in 1666 🔥🏚️ pic.twitter.com/pqYnOnahES— Royal Park Primary (@RP_Primary) January 20, 2025

Our Royal Park choir visited The Oaks Care Home last week to give the residents a sneak preview of some of the songs they will be singing at the Young Voices concert tomorrow. Last week, Year 6 had a workshop with Mexicolore. They had an amazing morning filled with facts and activities such as drumming, warrior chants and even got to try on some Aztec clothing. They loved it and can't wait to learn more about the Aztecs this half term! @Mexicolore pic.twitter.com/pnxYH4MYT1— Royal Park Primary (@RP_Primary) January 13, 2025

This week we took a group of our ACE children to our local library to explore a range of quality books. 📚📕The children each chose a book to bring back to school to read with their ACE tutor. We are looking forward to taking our next group of children soon! @TKATACE pic.twitter.com/wzqfl1lWuy— Royal Park Primary (@RP_Primary) January 10, 2025
