Online Payments
At Royal Park use a messaging and payment system called Schoolcomms.
This is part of the TKAT Trust’s move to improving communications with parents and continue to be cashless.
By downloading an App on your Smartphone you will be able to receive messages from the school and make any payments due.
The system meets all GDPR requirements and your data is secure. The payment facility meets all UK standards for security. The school benefits because messages via the App are delivered for free, whereas at the moment we pay for each text/message you are sent.
If you have children at more than one school who use Schoolcomms you will find all their details via the one App and if necessary you can make just one payment which will be automatically split between the school accounts.
Steps for parents/carers to take:
1. Download the free Schoolcomms App
Apple iPhone users download the app from schoolgateway.co.uk/iosdownload
Android phone users download the app from schoolgateway.co.uk/androiddownload
2. If the details that you enter are the same as those the school holds you will be automatically sent a text message with the PIN code to activate your account
3. Use the App for payments and we will be using it for messages from the 26th June 2023
What if I don’t have a smartphone?
You can set up an account on a PC at https://schoolgateway.co.uk
I can download the app but I cannot log-in?
This probably means that the information that the school holds for you ie email and or mobile number is not current, please ensure the school office have up to date details
