Art and Design Technology

The outcomes for Art and Design Technology are driven from the core text that the children are learning about that term.

The curriculum has been carefully crated in order that children learn a sequence of skills throughout the year that they can then build upon as they move through the school.  

We encourage our children to be imaginative and creative and to explore and experiment with colour, resources, materials and textures to make wonderful pieces of art that link to their termly themes.  For design and technology, children think about different materials and design their projects before making prototypes and real life models as well as baking lovely creations such as rock cakes and biscuits.
